LearnReplay is a service that creates a comprehension quiz from a YouTube video link. This page explains what data we receive and how we use it.
Who the service is for
learnreplay.com is intended for users outside the Russian Federation. By signing in with Google you confirm that you are not located in Russia. A version for Russia with Yandex ID and VK ID sign-in will be available at learnreplay.ru.
Google sign-in
Sign-in uses Google. We only receive the email address of your account and the confirmation that it belongs to you. We have no access to your mail, contacts, files or any other Google data.
What we store
- your email address — to enforce the limit on new quizzes per week;
- the time quizzes were created and videos imported — for the same limit;
- video links, their transcripts, generated quizzes, your answers and final reviews;
- technical server logs (request address, time) needed to run and protect the service.
The sign-in session is kept in a browser cookie for up to 7 days. There are no other cookies, ads or third-party analytics.
Who receives data
Video transcripts and question texts are sent to a language model through an intermediary service to build the quiz and the review. Your email is not sent there. Videos and subtitles are loaded from YouTube; the embedded player uses youtube-nocookie.com. We do not sell data or share it with third parties for advertising.
Deletion
To delete your data, write to the support address shown on the Google sign-in screen. You can revoke the service's access to your account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
